I've always been twitterpated with these things. Are they effective? Do they even cool? I don't know. But they've appealed to me: a visual treat, a simple aluminum, spinning crown for the home. And a crown for me ... since my home is my castle and a reflection of me!
However, I now have seen the down side of them as this Austin, Texas video so well illustrates. Squeeeeeeeeeeeek!
Plus, I understand that they often trap birds and THAT is not pretty.
