I like the simplicity of this design. Even though Becky Thatcher didn't get much "screen time" in the book, I wanted her to be prominent in the design so little girls would feel included. (Click to see larger.)

If you stick your big toe
down in the swamp
next thing you know
'gator takes a chomp

If you try to be bold
and poke your pinky in
to test the water's cold
'gator gets you a-gin

If you wanna take a swim
though you know you oughtn't to
'gator thinks on a whim
you'll make a nice stew!
